AIR CANADA DOES A DISSERVICE TO BUSINESS CLASS FLYERS
By Dr. Champagne
As a frequent flyer ( both super elite and one world gold), I am constantly dissatisfied with Air Canada. As a champagne lover, one of the rewards of paying huge amounts of money to fly in the front, is being offered a cold glass of champagne upon boarding and getting settled in for a long flight. Unfortunately, Air Canada still insists on pouring sparkling wine!! On the last flight we were offered Hacienda Brut
This apparently is a combination of Chardonnay, Colombard and mixed whites, whatever that means. My tasting note was only one word, HORRIBLE.
I urge all champagne lovers to contact Ken Chase, Air Canada’s wine consultant to remedy this. For a world class airline it should only be pouring champagne throughout the flight!!!
Thankfully through the flight they did pour Drappier, but they ran out half way through!
